Summary:In case a Driver Builder project folder was renamed from the windows file system (not from Driver Builder), the following error will appear while attempting to open the project in Driver Builder - error : "Could not find file 'C:\Users\igor-k\Downloads\PowerDriver\.manifest'". The error message can be somewhat misleading as under normal conditions there does not exist a .manifest file under "C:\Users\igor-k\Downloads\PowerDriver".
Architecture: When a driver builder project contains subfolders a .manifest file is located in each subfolder describing its contents. The main folder has a .tsdrvproj file which serves as the manifest for the project. The location of the .manifest files must remain unchanged and the .tsdrvproj name must match the main folder name.
Solution: Make sure that the project folder (C:\Users\igor-k\Downloads\PowerDrive) has the same name as project main file (C:\Users\igor-k\Downloads\PowerDriver\PowerDriver.tsdrvproj).
