the string output doesn't print to console output
I am trying to just simply print the output of my code to the console but it throws the below error:
Error: HTTPError
" Description: HTTP Error 500: The server encountered an error processing the request. Please see the server logs for more details."
the output is string. when I commented out this line it doesn't show any error but i am not able to see the result:
api.WriteMessageToReservationOutput(context.reservation.reservation_id, buff)
why?

If you're sending the response from the device, it might contain characters which are not valid.
ASCII decimal characters 0-31 are invalid inputs, not including 9, 10, and 13.
So you can first try to write any other output to the reservation just to make sure you have it working.
Then, either save the buff content to a file or clean it from any such character before you send it to the server.
